Dual Appointments for Jason Hicks
Jason F. Hicks, a deputy county attorney for Guilford County, has been appointed to be the Vice-Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Juvenile Justice & Children’s Rights Section.
The section provides networking for attorneys and advocacy organizations interested in protecting the rights of juveniles in all areas of law affecting children, including domestic, juvenile court, and education matters. The section includes attorneys and child advocates across disciplines and sectors, united to advance positive youth development through excellence in direct representation of North Carolina youth and the promotion of legislation, policy, programs, and systems that support youth and families.
He has also been reappointed to serve as the Chief Legal Advisor for the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, International. This is the third biennium he has been selected to serve in this position.
