GBA Accepting Centennial Award Nominations
Please consider nominating a colleague for the Centennial Award this year.
The North Carolina Bar Association co-sponsors the Centennial Award with the Greensboro Bar Association to recognize a GBA member for outstanding service which benefits our local community. Qualifying service includes elected and/or appointed service to local government; civic involvement on boards of community agencies; involvement in public service projects; and volunteer involvement with schools, churches, or other nonprofit organizations.
Recent awardees include Judge Teresa Vicent, Jim Slaughter, Gerald Walden, Mike Fox, Erik Albright, and Kimberly Gatling.

Nominations for the Centennial Award are due on November 1, 2026,

The Centennial Award will be presented at the January GBA meeting.
